Nancy Baldwin, a representative of a generous PPB donor, was on-hand at the dedication of the new Malawi factory.  She was very excited to witness the grand opening and had this to say:
“The completion of the PPB Malawi factory is truly a milestone in the relationship between our two organizations.  I can assure you that our Board is very pleased to have played a role in bringing it to fruition.  I was able to see first-hand how important Chiponde/RUTF is to the health and well-being of the Malawian children receiving it.  I was moved by the appreciation and reaction of the mothers who walked for hours to bring their children to the feeding clinic, and was touched by the dedication of the nurses and community health workers offering care and advice on how to provide this nourishment to these needy toddlers.  Lives were being saved before my eyes.”
