An Update on PPB and COVID-19

Dear Donors, Colleagues, and Friends:

Project Peanut Butter takes the health and security of our team members very seriously. As COVID-19 continues to have a global effect, PPB has made the decision to bring home our team members from all four of our sites. As you can imagine, this has taken a toll on the operation of PPB, especially with our newest site in Ivory Coast. But, we are pleased to say that our local staff is working hard to keep things running smoothly on the ground.

At this time, there are no confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malawi or Sierra Leone. However, according to the Ghana Health Service, 24 cases of COVID-19 are confirmed. Twenty-three are currently isolated and one has died. Additionally, according to the U.S. Embassy in Ivory Coast, there are 14 confirmed cases of COVID 19.

Thank you for your continued support. We will keep you updated as information comes in.

Stay well.

Best,

Mark Manary
