What does it cost to rescue a malnourished child through Project Peanut Butter’s projects? Surprisingly, the number is quite low: about $25 per child. Project Peanut Butter (PPB) has an ambitious vision – to help prevent malnutrition worldwide and save over 2 million children who suffer from severe malnutrition by 2015. It can be done.

To achieve this objective, PPB needs funds for ongoing operations in Malawi and for continuing expansion into Sierra Leone. In addition, PPB will open clinics and food production facilities in at least 3 more countries in sub Sahara Africa during the next several years.

Isn’t it amazing to know that Severe Acute Malnutrition, responsible for 1/2 of child deaths worldwide, can be cured?
Advocate
You can help Project Peanut Butter in its quest to eradicate childhood malnutrition by becoming an advocate for the cause as well as educating yourself and others about our transformational cure.

You can make a difference:
By joining our advocacy network to stay up-to-date on issues related to childhood malnutrition.
By contacting organizations that are involved in this area and asking them to consider or continue to use RUTFs in their efforts.
By educating others about RUTFs and Project Peanut Butter. See how the Minneapolis/St. Paul school district has incorporated RUTFs into their 4th grade curriculum.
